Bonnie Massa is Founder and President of Chicago based Massa & Company, Inc. Her firm helps companies and nonprofit organizations tap into the full potential of their marketing data to gain new customers, meaningfully segment and reach out to their existing customers, analyze customer behavior to predict their future behavior, and increase the value of their customer base. Bonnie has been in the database and marketing arena since 1985 and has designed, built and managed databases and provided customer–centric analysis for noteworthy clients such as Budget Rent a Car, Midas International, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and La-Z-Boy Furniture.

Just prior to starting her company in 1985, Bonnie worked for a year in sales and marketing in Tennessee for a Johnson Wax subsidiary which created and marketed the “plastic” product that holds ink in our modern disposable hand stamps and POS registers. After opening over 100 new accounts in a few months, Bonnie started her own business as a marketing research consultant and shortly moved to Chicago where Massa & Company was incorporated.

Before that Bonnie spent seven years channeling her passion for the theater into founding and operating a nonprofit performing arts company in her hometown of Cookeville, Tennessee. She created a subscriber base from nothing to produce locally cast plays and musicals and sponsor professional ballet, mime and children’s theatre troupes. During this period, she was an instructor in the English Dept at Tennessee Technological University where she taught mandatory Public Speaking to barely tolerant freshman.

Bonnie has a BA degree in Speech and Theatre from Lambuth University in Jackson, TN. She is a Market Motive Certified Practitioner in Web Analytics, Conversion Optimization and Social Media, she has a Google Analytics Individual Qualification, she is a volunteer Account Director in Chicago for Taproot Foundation and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Consultants to Non-Profits.
